AAS Quick Gardening Tips: How & Why to Top Off or Tip Prune Peppers

Topping off a pepper plant will force the plant to create more side shoots. It creates a stockier plant with more flowers. More flowers leads to more pepper production. I have found most pepper varieties benefit from pruning. Banana Peppers and Bell Peppers did not seem to be benefit. I suggest you experiment with pruning!
